Bible DISCOVERY 24: Nature of GOD

 

Genesis 1:1

1 In the beginning 

God created the heaven and the earth.

How many people really know GOD?

How many people care to know about the LORD?

How many Christians make time to know?

This post will help us know more about the nature of GOD.

Through verses His HOLY SPIRIT led me to.

Exodus 34:5-7

5 And the Lord descended in the cloud, 

and stood with him there, 

and proclaimed the name of the Lord.

6 And the Lord passed by before him, 

and proclaimed, 

The Lord, The Lord God,

Luke 2:9

SPIRIT led me to WORD study for He knew I was particular about words.

It's how He teaches me about EVERY word from Scripture.

Today, He led me to the phrase "glory of the Lord".

What does it mean?

The angels tell the women:

Luke 24:6

6 He is not here, 

but is risen: 

remember how he spake unto you 

when he was yet in Galilee,

Shall we allow our finite minds, to be blown by the magnificence of what we will learn here today?

Such as the fact that Jesus was raised by God, Himself, and the Holy Spirit?

Is such a thing possible?

Preposterous?

Does that blow all concept of what you can possibly imagine?

But it is truth, for apostle John testifies of the existence of the TRIUNE GOD:

and the Holy Ghost: 

and these three are one.

Bible DISCOVERY 20: WHY God ALLOWS Good and Evil to Coexist

 

Matthew 13:30 

King James Version

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: 

and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, 

Gather ye together first the tares, 

and bind them in bundles to burn them: 

but gather the wheat into my barn.

Why is there so much evil in the world?

Why is there so much suffering?

How can man survive?

What is the purpose to it all?

Scripture makes things clear.

JESUS gives a parable:

Matthew 13:24-26

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, 

saying, 

The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man 

which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came 

and sowed tares among the wheat, 

and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, 

and brought forth fruit, 

then appeared the tares also.

Matthew 13:27-29

27 So the servants of the householder came 

and said unto him, 

Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? 

from whence then hath it tares?

In GOD's infinite wisdom, He allows both to grow together.

Even as the enemy has sown the tares. among the wheat.

GOD will allow both to co-exist, for a time.

Until such time He finds everything ready for harvest.

By our seeds, and fruits, we shall be judged.

The question remains --

Which one are you?

Wheat, or tares?

Bible DISCOVERY 17: JESUS and the RESTRAINER

 

Have you noticed something significant about JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD -- the "Restrainer"?

There's something very telling.

And you need to know.

When Jesus left, 

the "Comforter" came.

When the "Restrainer" will leave, 

that's when JESUS will return.

The "Comforter", and "Restrainer", are but a few names for the SPIRIT of GOD.

Pay attention to these verses:

Before JESUS was "taken away".

John 14:16-18 

King James Version

16 And I will pray the Father, 

and he shall give you another Comforter,

 that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; 

whom the world cannot receive, 

because it seeth him not, 

neither knoweth him: 

but ye know him; 

for he dwelleth with you, 

and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: 

I will come to you.

John 14:26 

King James Version

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

Before the RESTRAINER is "taken away".

When JESUS returns.

Revelation 22:10-15

for the time is at hand.

and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still:

I come quickly; 

and my reward is with me, 

to give every man according as his work shall be.

If you are God's own, you can feel a palpable "tension" in the air, of knowing the RETURN of JESUS is imminent.

You can almost hear the cries of the downtrodden, the faithful in CHRIST, waiting for the LORD's return.

But only God knows when.

Up until such time, the HOLY SPIRIT -- the "Restrainer" -- holds the Tribulation back, until Jesus comes back for His faithful.

That's why, it's time to turn to JESUS now.

Become born again, and you'll know what you need to know, for things of the SPIRIT must be "spiritually discerned".

1 Corinthians 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not 

the things of the Spirit of God: 

for they are foolishness unto him: 

neither can he know them, 

because they are spiritually discerned.
