PROOF of POWER

 Joel 2:27

King James Version

27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,

and that I am the Lord your God, and none else:

and my people shall never be ashamed.

How do you know it's GOD at work?

What are His ways?

What are His means?

What is proof of His power?

What proof does the Bible present?

You only need to hear GOD say this all the time, which SPIRIT pointed out to me, in just one chapter, for starters:

Ezekiel 6:1-7

King James Version

6 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man,

set thy face toward the mountains of Israel,

and prophesy against them,

3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel,

hear the word of the Lord God;

Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains,

 and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys;

Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you,

and I will destroy your high places.

4 And your altars shall be desolate,

and your images shall be broken:

and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

5 And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel

before their idols;

and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

6 In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste,

and the high places shall be desolate;

that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate,

and your idols may be broken and cease,

and your images may be cut down,

and your works may be abolished.

7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you,

and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 6:8-10

King James Version

8 Yet will I leave a remnant,

that ye may have some

that shall escape the sword among the nations,

when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

9 And they that escape of you

shall remember me among the nations

whither they shall be carried captives,

because I am broken with their whorish heart,

which hath departed from me,

and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols:

and they shall lothe themselves for the evils

which they have committed in all their abominations.

10 And they shall know that I am the Lord

and that I have not said in vain

that I would do this evil unto them.

Ezekiel 6:11-13

King James Version

11 Thus saith the Lord God;

Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say,

Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel!

for they shall fall by the sword,

by the famine, and by the pestilence.

12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence;

and he that is near shall fall by the sword;

and he that remaineth and is besieged

shall die by the famine:

thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

13 Then shall ye know that I am the Lord

when their slain men shall be among their idols

round about their altars,

upon every high hill,

in all the tops of the mountains,

and under every green tree,

and under every thick oak,

the place where they did offer sweet savour

to all their idols.

Ezekiel 6:14

King James Version

14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them,

and make the land desolate,

yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath,

in all their habitations:

and they shall know that I am the Lord.

More on such GOD's statements here.

And if you're wondering how Israel's enemies will fare, especially those in Gaza, these verses speak clearly:

Ezekiel 25:15-17

King James Version

15 Thus saith the Lord God;

Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge,

and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart,

to destroy it for the old hatred;

16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God;

Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines,

and I will cut off the Cherethims,

and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them

with furious rebukes;

and they shall know that I am the Lord,

when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

Such is GOD's truth, power, and reality.

That we may acknowledge His LORDSHIP.

But the world is stingy.

It doesn't want to acknowledge that.

But you know what?

Once GOD makes you born again, you don't even question GOD's authority.

It becomes an integral part of you.

I simply accepted His TOTAL POWER over all our lives the day He made me born again in 2019.

Sure, the nuns in Catholic schools taught me of GOD's POWER.

But it was only when GOD Himself made me born again 74 months ago did I actually KNOW for sure.

Only because His HOLY SPIRIT made it known to me.

He began teaching me, through Scripture.

And through JESUS' words.

I was right all along.

In knowing there was an ABSOLUTE POWER somewhere.

It had become the "search" of my life.

Thus, all the books bought, borrowed, and browsed over.

And finally given away.

Only because SPIRIT finally led me to the Bible.

Knowing I had exhausted all "research".

But GOD also waits for us to do something.

After turning away from all my sins, GOD finally took mercy upon me, and ended all that search.

Now, I have come to know GOD's TRUTH.

And always, through JESUS, SPIRIT, and Scripture.

All for GOD's GLORY.

GOD knows our THOUGHTS

 Psalm 44:21

King James Version

21 Shall not God search this out?

for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Ever doubted GOD's power to know us fully?

Well, doubt no more, for SPIRIT led me to many verses in Scripture showing proof.

And in man's skeptical heart, he always needs proof.

A true born again won't challenge GOD's power.

We already know, because the HOLY SPIRIT told us so.

This is how much GOD knows our thoughts.

Our desires, and our substance.

It's all in Scripture.

There is no hiding from GOD.

Genesis 6:5-6

King James Version

5 And God saw

that the wickedness of man

was great in the earth,

and that every imagination

of the thoughts of his heart

was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord

that he had made man on the earth,

and it grieved him at his heart.

Psalm 139:1-5

King James Version

139 O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,

thou understandest my thought afar off.

3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down,

and art acquainted with all my ways.

4 For there is not a word in my tongue,

but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.

5 Thou hast beset me behind and before,

and laid thine hand upon me.

Psalm 139:7-8

King James Version

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit?

or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:

if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Psalm 139:13

King James Version

13 For thou hast possessed my reins:

thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

Psalm 139:15

King James Version

15 My substance was not hid from thee,

when I was made in secret,

and curiously wrought

in the lowest parts of the earth.

Psalm 139:16

King James Version

16 Thine eyes did see my substance,

yet being unperfect;

and in thy book all my members were written,

which in continuance were fashioned,

when as yet there was none of them.

Jeremiah 1:5

King James Version

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;

and before thou camest forth out of the womb

I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee

a prophet unto the nations.

Ezekiel 38:10

King James Version

10 Thus saith the Lord God;

It shall also come to pass, that at the same time

shall things come into thy mind,

and thou shalt think an evil thought:

His power is in JESUS.

4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said,

Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

Matthew 12:25

shall not stand:

Matthew 16:6-8

King James Version

6 Then Jesus said unto them,

Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees

and of the Sadducees.

7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying,

It is because we have taken no bread.

8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them,

O ye of little faith,

why reason ye among yourselves,

because ye have brought no bread?

Matthew 26:20-21

King James Version

20 Now when the even was come,

he sat down with the twelve.

21 And as they did eat, he said,

Verily I say unto you,

that one of you shall betray me.

Matthew 26:22-23

King James Version

22 And they were exceeding sorrowful,

 and began every one of them to say unto him,

Lord, is it I?

23 And he answered and said,

He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish,

the same shall betray me.

Matthew 26:24

but woe unto that man

by whom the Son of man is betrayed!

it had been good for that man

if he had not been born.

King James Version

15 And he charged them, saying,

Take heed,

beware of the leaven of the Pharisees,

and of the leaven of Herod.

16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying,

It is because we have no bread.

17 And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them,

Why reason ye, because ye have no bread?

perceive ye not yet, neither understand?

have ye your heart yet hardened?

Mark 12:14-15

King James Version

14 And when they were come, they say unto him,

Master, we know that thou art true,

and carest for no man:

for thou regardest not the person of men,

but teachest the way of God in truth:

Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

15 Shall we give, or shall we not give?

But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them,

Why tempt ye me?

bring me a penny, that I may see it.

Luke 5:22

King James Version

22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts,

he answering said unto them,

What reason ye in your hearts?

perceiving the thought of their heart,

took a child, and set him by him,

King James Version

44 Ye are of your father the devil,

and the lusts of your father ye will do.

He was a murderer from the beginning,

and abode not in the truth,

because there is no truth in him.

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth,

ye believe me not.

John 16:19

King James Version

19 Now Jesus knew

and sharper than any twoedged sword,

piercing even to the dividing asunder

of soul and spirit,

and of the joints and marrow,

and is a discerner of the thoughts

and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature

that is not manifest in his sight:

but all things are naked and opened

unto the eyes of him

with whom we have to do.

Revelation 2:23

23 And I will kill her children with death;

and all the churches shall know

that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts:

and I will give unto every one of you

according to your works.

These are introductory verses so we may know the power of GOD, and His ability to search our hearts, know our thoughts, and even perceive our evil.

To get the complete context, read the whole chapter where these verses came from.

For myself, I don't doubt GOD knows everything.

His WORD has such power in my heart.
